The NATURALS range are all original creations of my own and contain only 100% natural wax and fragrance oils - derived from natural extracts and single isolates of plant origin, blended with essential oils.

 

Natural fragrance oils (NFO's) and essential oils are used in a much lower concentration than the CLASSICS to be skin friendly, but as always, patch test before use as individual results may vary. Extra care should always be taken in the younger, the elderly, pregnant women and around pets with the use of essential oils.

 

Naturals are not commercial pour-from-the-bottle mass produced mainstream fragrances (see CLASSICS) - these are my own original blends of NFO's.

 

Skin safe to rub onto hands, elbows, feet - patch test reccommended.

Robe Candle Co candles have all been extensively trialed for quality burn time, scent strength, safety of vessel, wick efficacy and cleanliness. Being a handmade product, slight variation is normal and part of a unique (not mass produced in a factory) item.

TOP TIPS FOR LONGEVITY AND QUALITY OF LIFE:

 

You don’t have to burn your candle to enjoy it’s lovely scent. Robe Candle Co candles are very strong and are a beautiful product that can be enjoyed without a flame. Placed on bedside tables, entry ways, office desks and styled into open homes by Real Estate agents are all creative ways that have been proven to scent your surroundings. A stockist in SA changes the scent of her salon everyday by taking the lid off a different candle – and is frequently complimented on the aromas.

 

Make sure the first burn is right to the edge of jar / tin. Wax has a “memory” and not doing this will cause a tunnel-like hollow burn down the centre of candle, wasting the edges and suffocating the wick with insufficient melt pool diameter. Always burn right to the edge of vessel (especially on first burn) to get the most out of your candle.

 

Keep your wick short. After extinguishing and cooling, before next burn ensure you trim your wick to about 5mm. This can be done with a special tool called a wick trimmer, or simply pinched off with your finger tips once cold. Do not let the wick fall into the melt pool – this will cause excess smoke and an untidy candle surface.

 

Don’t “blow” your candle out. This can dislodge wick from centre and cause it to set crookedly once cooled - and again, result in shorter burning life. A special tool called a snuffer can be used but guess what?! Your candle has an inbuilt snuffer, called a lid. Simply place the lid on your candle to suffocate it of oxygen and it will go out in a matter of seconds. It will leave a black mark on your jar / tin lid but this is easily wiped off. Before lighting again, trim wick and away you go!

 

You candle also has an inbuilt heat proof bottom – again, the lid. I have trialled long term burning (actually, overnight – oops!) on a variety of surfaces including wood and not had any marks caused by heat with the lid of jar / tin underneath the candle.
